And when I say “hot lap”, I mean slow as shit. In fact, start the video, go make a sammich, watch a little TV and come back when I’ll be somewere at the hairpin turn. Enjoy!

“Is that a 911 daddy?”
“No, its a 912.”
“Does the bigger number mean it goes faster?”
“No.”
“Oh.”
Jokes aside, that was a real nice lap, must have been a real treat. The motor sounds strong and healthy. You seemed to find the choice lines, even if you didn’t get up to high speeds (it probably seemed faster than it was). How was the understeer? Didn’t see much evidence of it.

Ha! Yes it was a fun time on the circuit. High speeds are a relative term with 912s as the stock flat-4 can only push about 90-100 hp.
My favorite sections were in turns 3-9. Very little body roll or understeer, but I definately put her through the paces. Probably hitting those turns around 60 mph and smiled the entire time!
Kinda felt bad for the 996 cab behind me as there was a no-passing rule for the duration of the parade lap.
